Cambridge Avenue Allotments is having it's first ever Open Day on Sunday 18th July between 12 and 3pm. Cambridge Avenue Allotments is situated at the top of Pilrig Street and can be accessed by Arthur Street Lane, off Arthur Street. The event is in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. There will be a limited quantity of seedlings and produce available and endless tea, coffee and cakes (perhaps). Donations welcome.
From 2pm Pilrig Park Allotments throws its gate open to all who want to visit and enjoy the gardening going on there. The BBQ is open for those bringing their own food. Pilrig Park Allotments are situated at the east end of the park, entry off Balfour Place.
