Hello,

I'm a producer on the Channel 4 show Come Dine With Me. We are currently looking for people to take part in Edinburgh. For each show we try to attract as wide and interesting a cross section of people as we can and so we are contacting a variety of groups and organisations.

If you are unfamiliar with the show - it involves entertaining and cooking for 3 strangers, who host and mark each other in turn over 4 days. Whoever is scored the highest by their guests wins £1000.

I wonder if any of you with allotments would be interested in taking part? I'm sure you would know some people who you think would be good entertainers? Maybe you could suggest some people you think would be interested?

We'll be visiting Edinburgh in the next couple of weeks to meet people who are keen to be involved – so we’ll need to hear from you in the next week or so in order to be considered.
