Shop, and links

I have spent the afternoon researching community growing and food and have just discovered your wonderful site. Congratulations - it is much better than many national or international sites - lively, easy to use, full of useful information.

One of the sites I was looking at earlier was the site for Land Share, http://landshare.channel4.com/ I don't know what allotment associations think of the concept but from their site it looked as if people wanting to till but without land were being put in touch with people with land. I thought that this might be a useful link to add to your's, and maybe ask them to cross link.

Re shop. As a plotter at Succoth Gardens, can I access your shop, or can this only be done by the Sec. of our Association? Would you like any more information about this association for your site or do you have as much as you can carry for not a full allotment body?

FEDAGA membership

Hello Andrew,
Does Succoth Gardens belong to FEDAGA as a member site? If so, then you can use the shop. Those of us who belong to member sites pay a subscription to FEDAGA along with our annual rent. This gives us all of the benefits of belonging to FEDAGA incuding its considerable buying power which enables it to discount seed potatoes etc etc.
If you don't know then check with your Site Representative who should know.

Cheers

Pauline
