Do you need an extra pair of hands to help on your plot? Well I have the solution!

My name is Frances Allan and I am a Journalism student at Edinburgh Napier University.

I am writing a series of features about long term ways to improve your life, and I want to include working on an allotment as one of them.

Ideally I would like to come and help one of you on your plot, to really get a sense of what it is like to work on a plot in a city (my parents have one which I have helped out on but it is in the countryside).

I can come at a time which is convenient to you, I am very hardworking and will turn my hand to anything, and I'll even bring some homemade biscuits for a snack!
