The crystal lemon cucumber bears small
round yellow fruit. The fruit are purported to be especially easy to
digest. This cucumber can be grown in the greenhouse or outside, though
in Edinburgh it requires a good summer to be very successful outdoors.

The fruit is very tasty and great for kids.

Sow April/May indoors to avoid any late frosts. It is best to
support the plant to prevent the fruit from coming into contact with
the ground and to keep the slugs off them.
