RULES FOR ALLOTMENT PLOTHOLDERS
Welcome to Bridgend Farm Allotment Site which will be the first model organic allotments in Scotland. Organic gardening involves cultivating your plot without using pesticides or herbicides, in harmony with nature for the benefit of wildlife and the environment as a whole. You will receive a guide to organic gardening principles which will outline what is acceptable practice and help and advice will be available on site.
Your attention is drawn to the rules for allotment plotholders leaflet enclosed with your allocation and these must be read in conjunction with the rules for Bridgend Allotment site
The following rules are to be observed by plotholders and are intended to clarify responsibilities, assist in delivering a safe, healthy and rewarding experience for all plotholders, and help the Council mange allotment sites for the benefit of all and the environment
1. The site will be run organically and all plotholders will adhere to organic gardening principles, as given in the Garden Organic guidelines leaflet enclosed.
