A Allotment appreciation as never before. Alarm in case the Council shuts them down.

B Bonfire ban, break-ins and bird song.

C Chelsea chop for my fringe. Although using secateurs might have been a mistake. Christina, my hairdresser, may never speak to me again. Clear skies. Cauliflowers small but perfectly formed, first of the year on 27th June.

D Dogs on guard duty.

E Exercise. Elderflower cordial, something I always mean to do but never quite get around to.

F Fresh air, foxy fun, fruit and forage. Furlough for some.
G Global pandemic. Globe artichokes. Garden centres closed. Garden centres open. Garlic harvested.

H Housework not getting done, rather be on the plot. No visitors anyway. Hand sanitiser. Hope as more people start to grow their own wherever they can.

L Leeks from Carluke. Lunch at the lottie – a bag of Revels.

O Online buying frenzy. Onions. Ollie greeting his adoring public.

S Seed and produce swapping, staying local, slugs and snails. Strawberries. Swifts return 15th June. Too fast for photo.
T Tragedy unfolding. Two metres. Tomatoes and thefts.
U Uninvited guests in my shed – wasps.
