Gardening Help

We hope that this section will provide useful information for all plot holders and gardeners. There is a huge amount of information already available in books and online, we hope that the information we provide may be more specific for allotment gardeners and especially Edinburgh and Scottish gardeners.

There is plenty of amount of knowledge held by allotment gardeners, much of which has never been written down. We hope that this section will allow you to share some of your hard won experience.

If you would like to submit any articles or provide content for this site please let us know using the Contact Form.

You may like to try this Vegetable Planner to work out when you need to sow, thin and harvest your crops. It is 'seasonally adjusted' to Edinburgh so you should avoid the frosts. It is a PDF and needs Internet Explorer or Chrome browser to display properly.
