This was my granddaughter Iona's home schooling at the plot! We dug, we planted, we watered the plants and each other. We watched the birds, the foxes, we made mud pies, dens, and shared picnics and stories. The plants grew and so did we, together. We live in Leith where there are very few gardens. The population is very dense, and most people live in flats. The plot was our oasis.
