2020 Covid-19 Memories

Pete, Sarah, Oscar & Felix, Inverleith Allotments
Our plot quickly became a physical and mental safe haven for us during lockdown.  Walking through the gate we were entering somewhere removed from the madness outside.  We all relished the close connection with nature during a sparkling spring, and getting our hands in the soil, working hard at digging, weeding and planting, felt like a positive investment in the future in a scary and uncertain time.  We felt very fortunate to be able to spend time in such an idyllic place.  A few months later we're enjoying the result of all that hard work - a bumper harvest!
