Show Classes

To simplify the judging of pictures of exhibits, we've had to restrict the 'Show' to vegetables.

Class 1    Onions.
250g or under. One dish of three displayed on a white plate including a £1 coin for scale.   Dry sand or vermiculite is permitted. The onions can be grown from seed or sets. One photo.
 
Class 2    Peas. One dish of six pods. Two photos to be submitted:
  1. Overall image of the exhibit (all six pods closed)
  2. Overall image of the exhibit with one pod opened and clearly visible. Include a £1 coin for scale.
 
Class 3    Tomatoes. One dish of six, displayed on a white plate including a £1 coin for scale. One photo.
 
Class 4    Carrots. Stump rooted. One dish of three, including a £1 coin for scale. One photo.
 
Class 5    Cucumbers. One dish, one cucumber; include a £1 coin for scale. One photo.
 
Class 6    Courgettes. One dish of two including a £1 coin for scale. One photo.
 
Class 7    Beetroot. Globe type. One dish of three displayed on a white plate including a £1 coin for scale. One photo.
 
Class 8    Potatoes. One dish of five, displayed on a white plate including a £1 coin for scale. One photo.
 
Class 9    Runner Beans. One dish of six, include a writing pen with the exhibit, for scale. One photo.
 
Class 10   Juniors’ class. Two dishes from the above classes. Confined to members' children up to 16 years of age. A photo of each dish. Include a £1 coin for scale.
